Your tasks

In this position, you will play a central role in our logistics and shipping processes, ensuring the smooth handling of goods both nationally and internationally. You will act as an interface between internal departments, authorities, and external service providers. Your tasks in detail:
  • Preparation and maintenance of all delivery documents, in particular delivery notes, waybills, export accompanying documents (EAD), and certificates of origin
  • Independent handling of customs clearance for imports and exports in compliance with all customs and foreign trade regulations
  • Registration and monitoring of shipments domestically and internationally in coordination with the respective transport service providers
  • Factual and mathematical verification of shipping and freight invoices
  • Ongoing communication and coordination with customs authorities, freight forwarders, and other transport service providers
  • Creation and maintenance of long-term supplier declarations
  • Coordination and monitoring of sea transport, including schedule tracking and document management

Your qualification

For this position, we are looking for a structured and reliable individual with in-depth knowledge of logistics and customs law who can maintain an overview even in a dynamic day-to-day business environment. Your profile:
  • Successfully completed commercial training, ideally as a freight forwarding agent or in a comparable field
  • In-depth and proven knowledge of customs and preferential trade law
  • Confident use of common MS Office applications (especially Excel, Word, and Outlook)
  • User knowledge of SAP, ideally in logistics-related modules
  • Relevant professional experience in shipping, export, or freight forwarding
Your profile is rounded off by a meticulous, independent approach to work, excellent organizational skills, and confident communication with internal interfaces, authorities, and external service providers.
